Treated by Dr. Kulbhushan Singh Dagar , Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket

Mar 26, 2024

Baby Nang Su Wati, from Myanmar, had a congenital heart defect to treat, for which the family travelled to India. Here, they consulted Dr. Kulbhushan Singh Dagar, Principal Director, Neonatal & Congenital Heart Surgery, Max Hospital, Saket, Delhi, India, who diagnosed Ventricular Septal Disease (VSD)—a hold between the two lower pumping chambers. The child had shortness of breath, fatigue, and loss of weight. Nang Su Wati was prepared for interventional cardiology to place a device in the heart to close the hole. The child had a smooth post-op recovery. Today, she is living a normal and functional life without any scar on her chest.
