One-year-old baby Lyai from Kurdistan had heart ailments, which brought her to India. In this condition, one is diagnosed with a hole between the two pumping chambers, narrowing of blood vessels and subsequent breathlessness and blueness. Baby Lyai was prepared for a corrective surgery, which was successful in closing the hole and repairing the heart arteries. After a stay in the ICU, the child had a prompt recovery. Eventually., she could fly back home without any complications to live a healthy and functional life.
