Reshma had an accident which inflicted a severe head injury. This caused blood clotting and prolonged unconsciousness. She was immediately rushed to Max, where Dr. Virender Kumar, Senior Consultant, Neurosurgery & Neurosciences, Max Smart Hospital, Saket, Delhi, India, who kept Reshma on ventilation support. Reports detected a concussion on the left temporal region and a large extradural haematoma on the right. The patient underwent a surgery. Irrespective of the criticality of the case, she had a prompt recovery. After a brief stay in ventilation post-consciousness, she could return home healthy and fit.
