Morbid obesity is a chronic and lifelong disease caused primarily by excessive fat storage.
Being overweight and obese are reversible conditions that can be treated by medical management whereas surgical treatment is required to treat morbid obesity. The body mechanisms that control a person’s weight are set in such a manner in morbid obese people that they tend to gain weight easily. These patients find difficult to lose weight as well as sustaining it.
Risks Associated with Morbid Obesity
